HALEY posted by Barbara Scott on Monday, March 1, 1999: I am trying to locate ANY INFORMATION on my biological father, Robert Haley. In mid 1949 and early 1950 he lived in Louisville, KY. He was employed by Greyhound Bus Lines as a driver. There is some speculation that he was involved in a bus accident some time in the early to late spring of 1950. At the time he was living with a Frieda Sanderson(5'2", very stuning & shapely, long wavy red hair and a cigarette girl in a lounge) and her 2 yr. old daughter Susan Mary. He was in his mid to late 30's,at the time, tall and slender, with blond hair and blue eyes. ANY info on this man would be greatly appreciated. I have been searching for over fifteen years and keep running into BRICK walls and DEAD-ENDS.

Abigail Fitzgerald, daughter of Joseph Fitzgerald, in Dec, 1830 at Henry Co., KY. Moved to Ripley Co., IN ca 1832. Children were John?, Joseph, William, Mary Catherine, David, Hayden Jr And Abigail Edwards. Family moved to Acton, Marion Co., IN ca.1853 where first wife died ca 1857. Remarried to MARY ANN PIERSON 31 Dec 1857. Children of that marriage were: Loren and Robert who died in infancy, Harrison and Clara. Hayden died in 1891 and is buried in Acton, IN. Sons, Joseph and Hayden Jr were farmers and are buried at Pleasantview, Shelby Co., IN. Any leads are appreciated.

BUCKINGHAM, HOCKERSMITH, KIRK posted by Karen Peterson on Saturday, March 6, 1999: Any info at all: Guss Hockersmith m.Helen Kirk Floyd co. IND. Children Jeanette Helen born 1933 Jerry born 1934. Helen Kirk Hockersmith died 1936-1937 Her Mother Mary Kirk and father John Pierre Kirk. She later remarried a Fred Kerman. Gus's parents Nora and Huntly Hockersmith. Huntly died in Ky. Mary Kirks Maiden name was Buckingham her mother Rebecca Buckingham. This is all I have and would like to know cemetaries they are in. especially Helen Kirk Hockersmith ( my Grandmother) The areas IVE heard they lived in were New Albany, George Town, and Depauw.
